Prophetic Words & Scripture Readings September 19
Leann started the meeting with Ann Shield’s article on intercessory prayer…..that time be spent before interceding, saying to God. “Lord, this is the situation. How do you want me to pray?”
Prophecy: “I am so pleased to see each one of you here this evening. Not only have you felt the urge to come, but I have called each one of you here, each one of you who’s taking the Life in the Spirit Seminar, I have called you. I love everyone here, I love all of you so much. I want you to grow in my love. You have not made a mistake. You are here for a reason.”
John 20:26-29: Jesus appeared to the disciples after the resurrection. “Peace be with you,” he said to Thomas. “Put your finger here, and see my hands; and put out your hand, and place it in my side; do not be faithless, but believing.” Thomas answered him, “My Lord and my God!” Jesus said to him, “Have you believed because you have seen me? Blessed are those who have not seen and yet believe.”
Prophecy: “My delightful children, my beloved children, do you know that I see you? I see you. You are not hidden from me. I see you. Never believe the lie that you are not known by me. I know each one of you and I love you deeply. You are always before me in my gaze, my gaze of love that rests on you and embraces you in each moment of your day. You are truly mine, my beloved.”
Vision: Saw dove which is symbol of Holy Spirit. The more people that come, the more people that are present to him is like a magnet, drawing a flood of grace, rays of light, a flood of grace from the Holy Spirit upon this place and I could sense that as soon as I walked into this building tonight. So I pray for each one of you that you will receive that flooding of grace from the Holy Spirit.
Prophecy: “Praise breaks through any darkness.” ….any darkness in our hearts, our lives, our minds.
Rev 1:5-6: “from Jesus Christ, the faithful witness, the First-born from the dead, the Ruler of the kings of the earth. He loves us and has washed away our sins with his blood, and made us a line of kings, priests to serve his God and Father; to him, then, be glory and power forever and ever. Amen.”
Proverbs 4:1-2: “My children, listen to what your Father teaches you. Pay attention and you will have understanding. What I am teaching you is good. So remember it all.”
I had the word “joy”. I believe that he is calling us to experience his joy, his joy that we are alive, that we are his creatures and that we are here.”
Hearing God’s Voice – Need to be quiet and learn to listen. Excerpt from the book, “In the Heart of the World”, Mother Teresa says to make possible true inner silence, practice: Silence of the eyes, by seeking always the beauty and goodness of God everywhere, and closing them to the faults of others and to all that is sinful and disturbing to the soul. Silence of the ears, by listening always to the voice of God and to the cry of the poor and the needy, and closing them to all other voices that come from fallen nature, such as gossip, tale bearing, and uncharitable words. Silence of the tongue, by praising God and speaking the life-giving Word of God that is the truth, that enlightens and inspires, brings peace, hope, and joy; and by refraining from self-defense and every word that causes darkness, turmoil, pain, and death. Silence of the mind, by opening it to the truth and knowledge of God in prayer and contemplation, like Mary who pondered the marvels of the Lord in her heart, and by closing it to all untruths, distractions, destructive thoughts, rash judgments, false suspicions of others, vengeful thoughts, and desires. Silence of the heart, by loving God with our heart, soul, mind, and strength; loving one another as God loves; and avoiding all selfishness, hatred, envy, jealousy, and greed. Good to keep a journal. The Lord’s word will not go against our vocation, the teachings of the Church, Scripture. Reading the Gospels helps us discern God’s voice.

Faith and Works by Steve Ray. Romans 3:23. James 2:24. Need to understand what “Works of the Law” in Paul’s day meant. John 3:16: “He who is believing” (present tense). Genesis 12, Romans 10:9-19, Genesis 15:6 and Genesis 17 – God did not command Abraham, he requested. Abraham could have refused. Abraham was saying, “I will do not only what you command but what you desire.” Genesis 22 – Moriah is the Temple Mount in Jerusalem. All this points to God giving up his only son, Jesus. Believe includes concept of obedience. Disobedience is the opposite to believe. Believe is a pregnant word. Believe is a zip file. Believe is a verb, something you do. You are saved by repentance. You are saved by water baptism. You are saved by the work of the Spirit. You are saved when you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord. You are saved with knowledge of truth. You are saved by works. You are saved by perseverance.

Prophecy: “Come, come, I want to embrace you. I want to draw you close to my heart. I want you to experience my love more and more. Open yourself. Whisper your situation to me. I want to help you. I am much bigger than the situation. Let me put my plan into action. I love you. I want to hear from you. Spend time with me in Scripture, Mass, sacraments. We will have a mighty union together.”
“I feel Jesus in my heart saying to pray for sinners on way to damnation. It saddens Jesus’ heart. If we pray for them it would warm our Savior’s heart.”
Vision: Jesus dressed in a plain white robe with a tambourine in his hand. In front of him is a fire. Didn’t see the flames. Saw smoke going up. That’s our prayers going up to the Father. Jesus started dancing and playing the tambourine harder and harder – making noise unto the Lord. He was praying. Saw a child and another child dancing in a circle with Jesus – instruments in their hands. Urgency to lift up prayers through music, dancing, any means we’re comfortable with. Jesus was not sad. Jesus was smiling, was joyful. Had a sense that there was a bible in front of the fire. Pages were turning as Jesus and the children are dancing.
Vision: The ceiling above us opened up. A ray of a beautiful, bright light descended down. Our Lord, Jesus, was there, descended down but still floating. As we were praising, he was smiling, holding out his hands. He said, “Your singing is not just singing, it’s praising. I want to bless you with so much.”
Malachi 3: Robbing of tithes. Put me to the test. Flood gates of Heaven will open. As we praise and thank him, as we bring our burdens to him, see that he doesn’t open the flood gates of Heaven.
Prophecy: “My children, my word to you tonight is surrender. Remember I surrendered everything. Pick up your cross and follow me. Surrender to me. All of you belong to me, all you own belongs to me.”

Hebrews 11:16 – The witnesses are saying, “By faith, I finished…you can, too.” By perseverance, the snail reached the ark. The race is not always to the swift, but to those who keep on running. Saints are sinners who keep on going. The road to success is dotted with many tempting parking places. Fall seven times, stand up eight. If we are facing in the right direction, all we have to do is keep on walking. Make each day your masterpiece. I may not be there yet, but I’m closer than I was yesterday. A river cuts through rock, not because of its power, but because of its persistence. Don’t be discouraged. It’s often the last key in the bunch that opens the lock. Walk together children, don’t you get weary; There’s a great camp meeting in the Promised Land.
St. Philip Neri said we must pray incessantly for the gift of perseverance. Philippians 3:14-16. It is important that we continue on our course, no matter what stage we have reached. Let perseverance be your engine and hope your fuel. John 16:33. Hebrews 6:19. Romans 5:5. Jesus is our anchor. When the world says, “Give up,” Hope whispers, “Try it one more time.” James 1:12. Prophecy: “Come out of yourself unto me. You are mine. You are created in my image. You belong to me. Come to me.”
The way to love is through praising him continuously. Praise him by enjoying his creation, his flowers, his sunshine, his birds. Through praising him there is no room for anything but love.

Testimony of Margaret Kirley. Two Scriptures passages special to Margaret: Jeremiah 1:5 – “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you.” and Isaiah 49:1 – “The Lord called me from birth, from my mother’s womb he gave me my name.” Romans 8:38 – “For I am certain that neither death nor life, neither angels nor principalities, neither the present nor the future, nor powers, neither height nor depth nor any other creature, will be able to separate us from the love of God that comes to us in Christ Jesus, our Lord.”
Teaching on August 22 “Healing Our Bondages” by Rosalie Scott.
Vision: Five dogs pulling dog sled in the very cold Arctic. Everyone has to cover their faces because of the cold. Jesus was sitting in the dog sled with a white cover protecting him. We were all in there with Jesus. He is our warmth, protection. When we feel alone, when we encounter any problems, we flee to Jesus. He is our total protection.
Words Maria saw in front of her: His grace is sufficient. Bring petitions to Him with praise and thanksgiving. Be anxious for nothing. By his stripes we are healed. He’ll supply all our needs. “I have come to bring you joy and peace beyond your understanding.” Open your hands, your hearts, receive all he’s giving. Have hands fully open. “Why are you anxious? Do you not believe I have come to give you joy and peace? Do you not believe I have come to heal you? See me with new eyes. I am your friend. I am your brother.”
Prophecy: “I am your lover, your peace. I’m drawing you close to myself. Do not be afraid. I want you to come closer and closer. My beloved, my cherished, I see your hardships, your sorrows in the depths of your heart. Give it to me. It doesn’t belong in you. You are my child. Come, my beloved. Do not hesitate. I am calling you now to a deeper love, joy. I am longing for you to be with me, my dearest children.”
Prophecy: “My people, I DO love you. I hear your petitions. My people, I want you to take a step of faith towards me. Believe, even though you are in a dark cloud of hardship, disease. Take that step of faith. I am the light of the world. I can conquer anything. Have faith, my people.”
Scripture Reading: Isaiah 43:1-3 “Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by name: you are mine. When you pass through the water, I will be with you; in the rivers you shall not drown. When you walk through fire, you shall not be burned; the flames shall not consume you. For I am the Lord, your God, the Holy One of Israel, your savior.”
Teaching was based on the book, “Spiritual Freedom” by Fr. Dave Pivonka. Make time to be quiet. Choose life. You’re the apple of his eye. The Lord says, “You will know I am the Lord when I free you.” Freedom comes only from God. Some have a fear of freedom. We are not a mistake. Be detached from the world. Surrender is detachment.
Teaching was followed by sharings on kindness.
Teaching on August 15 will be the personal testimony of Margaret Kirley.
John 15:15-17 – “I no longer speak of you as slaves, for a slave does not know what his master is about. Instead, I call you friends, since I have made known to you all that I heard from my Father. It was not you who chose me, it was I who chose you to go forth and bear fruit. Your fruit must endure, so that all you ask the Father in my name he will give you. The command I give you is this, that you love one another.”
Vision: The Lord is placing a burning flame in each of our hearts. Flame is made of beautiful colours: orange, red, yellow, black. Flame is going to increase our desire, our love for him. It will affect the way we praise him. The Lord is giving each one of us a special gift which will be revealed when the right time comes.
Prophecy: “People make lots of mistakes. The fact that you are here tonight is not a mistake. I desire you to come. I really enjoy your praises. I delight in your worship and all of heaven and the angels rejoice. You have been drawn here by my love. Let your heart be filled with my love. Trust me, walk with me, go forward.”
Prophecy: “My care and concern for you is greater than you can imagine. As a child is not able to fully understand the dreams the parents have for it, you are not able to understand that I fully am concerned for you, I fully care for you.”
Kindness: St. John near the end of his life preached over and over again, “Little children, God loves you, love Him and love one another.” He did this because that’s what the Master kept saying. Students assigned to do five acts of kindness per week, their levels of happiness increased by 41.66 percent. Galatians 5:22, Hosea 11:4, Colossians 3:12, Luke 8:16. Stories of kindness. Homework: Keep track of your kind deeds and smiles this week and share next week.
